You will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on-site, using the PDA and Planon system to ensure the university remains fully operational.
You will be involved in assessing existing structures, diagnosing defects, specifying remedial works, and producing structural designs and calculations.
You will be comfortable producing drawings, undertaking site visits, and communicating clearly with clients and colleagues.
You must record all works on a PDA, Planon is the CAFM system we operate. As our Building Services Engineer you will assume responsibility for: - Plumbing issues, keeping the facilities operational, completing PPM's - AHU Maintenance, AC trouble shooting. - Utilising mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair systems.
You will be expected to work on design projects involving concrete and steel mainly.
You will also be required to work on site investigation and evaluate design proposals.
You will be provided with support to meet the project commitments. You would be expected to start to work autonomously after completing few supervised tasks.
