You will provide support to deliver challenging and engaging Nuclear, Defence and buildings projects.

You will assist in the production of building fire strategies, fire and explosion assessments and the design of fire and explosion protection systems and arrangements.

You will also understand plans, drawings, procedures and standards when manufacturing, repairing or altering any system.

You must be competent in operating power tools and workshop machinery. It is also important that you are comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces and working over water.

You will preferably have experience of working in defence or a similar industry, but also those with relevant mechanical design experience looking to work in a technically challenging environment are encouraged to apply.

You must be a UK National and have the ability to obtain SC level security clearance, which includes being resident in the UK for the preceding 5 years.
