You will need good knowledge of using Control Systems to control the hydraulics, things like closed-loop control, motion control, servo control, PID tuning etc.
You will be working on complex, bespoke test rigs that operate like “testing robots”, combining hydraulics, electronics, controls, software and mechanical engineering at a very high level.
You will also support the Design Office with the production and refinement of engineering drawings and the Technical Author in the preparation of technical documentation and literature, whilst also providing support to the production team through test equipment and testing procedures.
