You will be expected to make a significant contribution to teaching on taught postgraduate and undergraduate courses with an emphasis on geotechnical site investigation.
You will also be expected to engage in appropriate administrative duties.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to plan, engineer, and support the construction of major offshore projects for leading developers and TSO’s. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional capable of excelling at a Principal level, with potential to progress to Associate Director.
You will liaise directly with clients, contractors and internal teams, contributing to project planning, quality control and successful delivery. To be considered for the Geotechnical Engineer position, you should have: - A degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience, physical geography or a related discipline.
You will be responsible for supervising and managing teams on small to medium sized geotechnical ground investigation projects on site, ensuring compliance in a technical, commercial, and HSEQ sense.
You will also be responsible for logging rock and soil samples (such as boreholes and trial pits) and carrying out field testing and surveying, among other requirements.
You will manage projects from start to finish, take ownership of your work, and contribute to the growth and success of the business. This role would suit an experienced Geotechnical or Geo-environmental Engineer looking for a senior, project-led position with progression opportunities.
