You will join a small, multidisciplinary team where the Embedded Software Engineer is the software owner. Expect visible impact, direct access to decision makers and the mandate to professionalise standards while keeping products moving. It is hands on mechatronics with purpose, balancing legacy stability and new platform development in a supportive, quality minded environment.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing microcontroller firmware, sensor drivers, and control logic to interface with a wide range of hardware including motors, pumps, actuators, RC modules, and an onboard Linux computer. This is a hands-on role working close to the hardware.
You will take the lead on your own projects as part of an inter-disciplinary engineering team, regularly liaising with mechanical and electronics engineers. This Principal Embedded Software Engineer role is a hands-on design position developing embedded software but it would be beneficial if you had previous experience supervising a team.
