You will partner with Vice Chancellors, Heads of Department, and the wider executive committee to provide high-quality financial advice, ensuring budgets are well-managed, risks are understood, and financial plans are both ambitious and achievable.
You will be responsible for developing manufacturing people, processes and strategy to deliver high‐quality, technically complex products. The role combines leadership, operational excellence and collaboration, ensuring manufacturing supports business objectives while embedding a strong continuous‐improvement culture.
You will also be allocated a company van.
You will want to learn and build a knowledge of utility tracing, noise logging and step-testing planning/operation to allow you to build your experience of leakage monitoring, pressure/flow and flow data capture techniques and methods.
You will take overall responsibility for the manufacturing operations, leading a team of 17 staff while driving efficiency and productivity. The role requires proven leadership and experience in a manufacturing environment.
