You will source and encourage enquiries through local engagement, undertake initial visits in the homes of our applicants and accurately record applicant information on our database.

You will be comfortable engaging with the public and existing foster carers, attending events to raise awareness of fostering and help exceed the local recruitment target.

You will need to be available to work during the 39 weeks of the academic year, for 45 minutes between 08:00 - 09:00 in the morning and 45 minutes between 14:45 - 15:45 in the afternoon approximately, depending on individual site requirements. Uniform, equipment, and training will be provided.

You will be regularly assessed on your knowledge, skills and behaviours but, unlike our other entry route, you will not be required to complete an academic qualification as part of your training or attend university.
