You will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing electrical & mechanical faults, and supporting production efficiency across electrical, electronic and some mechanical systems. You'll also play a part in projects, stock management, process improvement, and ensuring high safety standards.

You will be based remotely and cover the Northampton and surrounding territory. What you will be doing - Attend to calls for maintenance (on site and or by telephone) as directed by team co-ordinators - Rectify all faults on the first visit where rectification is within your control.

You will need good knowledge of using Control Systems to control the hydraulics, things like closed-loop control, motion control, servo control, PID tuning etc.

You will be working on complex, bespoke test rigs that operate like “testing robots”, combining hydraulics, electronics, controls, software and mechanical engineering at a very high level.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly.
