You will act as a subject matter expert in Complex Electronic Hardware (CEH), guiding engineers, conducting lifecycle assessments, and shaping the assurance strategy for major defence programmes. Key responsibilities include: - Leading assurance activities for CEH subsystems in line with DO-254, BS EN 61508-2 or equivalent

You will join a multi-disciplinary engineering team developing embedded firmware and Linux-based systems from early prototypes through to production machines. This is a hands-on senior role with genuine technical ownership and influence over system design. Key Responsibilities

You will need good knowledge of using Control Systems to control the hydraulics, things like closed-loop control, motion control, servo control, PID tuning etc.

You will be working on complex, bespoke test rigs that operate like “testing robots”, combining hydraulics, electronics, controls, software and mechanical engineering at a very high level.

You will also manage the technical service escalation queries and processes via online and system portals

You will become a vital member of the technical service team to ensure that technical customer service care is high quality for all local business partners and end customers
