You will be based in my client's Glasgow office, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver best-in-class engineering solutions.

You will be a confident technical leader with strong experience in UK transmission and distribution substation design, combined with excellent communication and people management skills.

You will be joining the engineering and technical team and will design and develop control systems for both new and existing products. The role will give you the chance to experience occasional (expensed) global travel to install and commission equipment & machinery at customer sites.

You will need a background in electrical, controls or instrumentation products with a good knowledge of LV Switchgear a strong advantage.

You will ideally have a good knowledge of process engineering or manufactiuring industies. Excellent communication & organisational skills, Results-driven and customer-focused, Good IT skills are essential as is the ability to work well in a team.

You will also identify and recommend improvements to machinery, production lines, and operational processes, while supporting projects, continuous improvement activity, and productivity initiatives. Clear communication is key, as you’ll report unscheduled downtime and corrective actions to the Engineering Shift Manager or Production Manager.
