You will take individual responsibility for a range of project types, manage them independently and be the clients main point of contact.
You will lead independently and proactively on technical aspects including preparing designs, specification, technical approval submissions, site supervision and will be fully conversant with industry design standards.
You will guide design development, ensure engineering quality and compliance, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support integration with airport operations and adjacent infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and technically robust solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
You will be responsible for all engineering deliverables, define and implement the engineering strategy and ensure performance meeting business needs and objectives. The nature of the industry and products will require someone who is a British Citizen.
You will work independently and proactively on technical aspects from a projects inception, determining client briefs, to the delivery and close out of projects in accordance with best practice.
You will support the delivery of projects both technically as well as support junior colleagues throughout the delivery of projects, including client facing roles.
You will be customer facing and support other customer-facing colleagues to deliver enhanced levels of sales growth whilst helping to define and extend the product range.
You will also work to ensure the proposed design concepts can be manufactured cost-effectively.
You will oversee the prototype build of products in question, prepare relevant documentation and actively participate in PFMEAs (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) and DFMEs (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis).
