You will be an engineer with proven experience working on high-voltage electrical or electrified vehicle systems, comfortable operating in a fast-paced development environment and contributing across the full engineering lifecycle.

You should be a well-organised, flexible, driven, forward planner with the ability to deliver work to a high standard and to tight timescales.

You should also be able to take on the ability to manage the mechanical engineering aspects of other more junior members of the team assisting on projects.

You will be the 'go to' person on the shift, offering your expertise and advice to other machinists on the shopfloor. At the end of the shift, you will be the person understanding what jobs are still on the machine, what needs completing and what is top priority, to pass on to the other shift supervisor on the opposite shift pattern!

You will deliver both theory and practical sessions, help learners build their confidence, and guide them through their coursework and assessments.

You will be part of an experienced team who will support you with training, mentoring and ongoing CPD.

You must hold a NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and the current 18th Edition.

You will work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems. Working 42 hours per week, the current shift pattern covers days and nights, Monday – Sunday. Here is an example of the shift pattern: What are the skills required?
