You will help translate early-stage concepts into robust, manufacturable products by performing experimental work, analysing performance, and providing clear, data-driven feedback into the engineering process. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES. - Conducting technical feasibility studies in the design of ultrashort pulsed fibre lasers and their use in laser systems.

You should be a natural communicator and be comfortable reaching out by phone, email, and video calls.

You will also be responsible for owning the Odoo CRM activity through touch points as opportunities progress, supporting the sales process, managing quotations and interactions with customers.

You will have a lead role in promoting and upholding the vision and values of the GSC, working in partnership with young people, families, colleagues across the Centre and wider sector, and our Board of Directors (volunteer Trustees), to realise our ambitious plans for change and growth.

You will work as an enthusiastic, effective member of an early years team supporting, nurturing children and creating stimulating learning opportunities that deliver a high quality child centred early years provision which meets the needs of our youngest children and their families.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field and will have experience of quality project management delivery.

You will be able to demonstrate that you have experience in programme management and can effectively communicate with others.

You will have an understanding of the climate emergency with a desire to deliver projects that will transform people’s lives for the better.

You will work with respected customers across education, commercial, logistics and infrastructure environments, supported by a knowledgeable engineering team and ongoing training. Suitable applicants will have strong technical capability, experience across fire & security systems and the confidence to work independently on customer sites.
