Support Worker needed to assist individuals with mental health, promoting independence and well-being, providing emotional support and teaching coping mechanisms.
Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health, assisting them to live fulfilling lives through various activities and personal care.
You will cover skills such as data mining, manipulating data, visualising data, and reporting on data. Study time for the qualification is approximately 30 hours and qualification is achieved by completing a 1-hour multiple choice exam.
You will be provided with access to a tutor and a 1-hour online revision workshop prior to sitting your exam.
You will be responsible for assessments, CPA reports, Mental Health Tribunals, Managers Hearings and will be requested to supervise junior staff members.
You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, situated located next to Gatwick.
You must be registered with Social Work England to apply for this role.
You must be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. This is a full-time, ongoing locum opportunity offering a competitive rate and the chance to work within a specialist secure environment.
You will work closely with the child's Social Worker and the Fostering service (and other services as appropriate) to ensure coordination of care and support.
You will work in Foster Carers' homes and in either our office in Woking or Reigate although you may, from time to time, be asked to assist in other areas.
