You must be educated to credit standard grade/SVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a related subject and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy. Good organisational and interpersonal skills, along with moderate office experience and knowledge of computer-based information systems, are essential.
You will help them take part in lessons, encourage independence (even with personal care), support them in learning new skills, and help them make friends.
You will be required to support children and young people with additional support needs to help them to overcome barriers to their learning and be able to reach their full potential either in Learning Centres or mainstream classes.
You will contribute to monitoring, evaluation and reporting activity to evidence outcomes and demonstrate impact in line with external funding requirements. The role will include evening and weekend work and requires a full UK driving licence.
You will be expected to carry out a range of duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, in Waste Management and Transportation.
You will be able to work both independently and as a team member.
