You will follow established Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working to guide your practice within an education setting.
You will manage your own caseload with full support from your clinical supervisor and site lead, and contribute to staff training and consultation. This role would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.
You will be responsible for picking stock and operating pallet truck equipment. This role has a 40-hour working week, from Sunday to Thursday, and will require you to work bank holidays (if these occur within the fixed term). Normal working hours are 5pm until 1am. The fixed term contract offered starts immediately and ends 28th August 2025.
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant. We'll also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift.
You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessment, and liaising with GP's, district nursing teams and resident family members.
