You will possess a blend of hands-on engineering expertise and leadership abilities, enabling you to oversee civils teams effectively.
You will self-perform certain tasks and maintain accurate records by marking up drawings and producing detailed reports on project progress.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering successful project outcomes by: - Ensuring the Health, Safety, and Welfare of all personnel and others under your supervision, in compliance with the Supervisors’ Health and Safety Responsibility Statement. - Effectively implementing all company and client health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
You will perform repairs and servicing on GCU-owned vehicles and plant, completing garage repair, service sheets, and defect rectifications.
You should be time-served, holding a City and Guilds qualification or equivalent, ideally with an IRTEC Commercial Inspection Qualification.
You will excel in transporting aggregates and materials, as well as supporting site staff with material couriering and collection.
You will bring experience and qualifications as a Hiab Grab Driver, holding the appropriate license to operate a Hiab Grab Truck. Previous experience in a Utilities or Telecommunications environment is essential, along with knowledge of Chapter 8 requirements.
