You will be offering day to day, person centred care, which includes, activities and day trips planned weekly with residents and service users which includes – swimming, trips to the seaside, museums, sensory walks, and activity breaks across the country.

You will work alongside individuals using a recovery-focused approach, helping them build confidence, develop their abilities and enjoy a fulfilling and valued life.

You will work closely with our local managers to book shifts in advance and planned around your availability, as well as being offered shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

You will provide person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities in all aspects of everyday life and to assist them in enjoying a wide range of activities.

You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for variety of people we support.

You will enable individuals to make choices, to have control over their lives and to enjoy opportunities for personal development.

You will need to be able to communicate effectively with service users and colleagues and you must have a good standard of written English in order to contribute to written records.
