You will be required to work out weights when loading so a high level of numeracy is required. This role will report to the Operations Team Leader for Stead House Distribution Centre. A typical day in this role includes: Loading/Unloading cages on a daily basis Asset tracking cages in and out of the DC+ cage tracking on wins
You will ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are followed as per company policies and procedures which will include accident reporting / investigation, delivery of toolbox talks.
You will lead a team of 4 members, located in the shopping centre.
You will manage and motivate your team to deliver and maintain the high cleaning standards set by the company and our client.
You will ensure that design deliverables meet the project specifications and construction requirements while enhancing team performance through focused staff training and upgraded engineering tools and systems. While this is a hybrid position, it can be based out of any Wood office, candidates who can work from Glasgow or Horsham may be prioritised.
You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a high volume, fast moving warehouse.
You will continually ensure that warehouse space and planned delivery schedules are compatible. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 12 months experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or experience in a similar role.
