You will look after children and young people with disabilities aged 0 to 18

You will need to have knowledge of, and a working understanding, of the Children Act 1989, the Children and Families Act 2014 and the Care Act 2014

You will work with young people to prepare them for the transition to adulthood and support them through the process

You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients What you'll be doing:

You will move into the client’s home and support them with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK. Must be able to speak Punjabi/Hindi * Good knowledge of English Language * Satisfactory DBS Disclosure or we can do one. Desired (but not essential): * A Care Certificate. Experience in community settings. Being a driver with access to your own vehicle.

You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working.

You will be given responsibility for holding an occupational therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.

Support Worker needed to provide care and support for children and young adults with Autism and learning disabilities.

You will be joining a team of highly trained engineers whose decades of experience spans the breadth of the Defence sector and all phases of the product life cycle.
