You will be working with disabled children and young people aged between 0 and 17 supporting them to progress towards independence.
You will be required to work alongside and in partnership with other professionals to develop plans to meet the care and support needs that have been identified.
You will assess up to a maximum of four to six customers per day.
You will pass on to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) who will make a decision on support for the customer,
You will assess a benefit called Personal Independent Payments or Employment and Support Allowance managed by DWP.
