You will be part of a supportive and established team dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for looked after children and care leavers. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a caseload of young people aged 16-18 within the Children in Care pathway. - Undertake statutory visits, reviews, and care planning in line with legislation and local procedures.

You will help to create a warm, stimulating environment whilst working a mix of day shifts and sleeps to meet individual needs. You'll do more than provide care – you'll be a mentor, advocate, and source of encouragement, helping the people you support to achieve their own individual outcomes.

You will be working at the Gateway Recovery Centre, a state-of-the-art facility which provides care for men and women with complex mental health requirements.

You will be working alongside the team with the aim to improve the mental health and wellbeing of service users and to help them develop and maintain healthy relationships with others.

You must have a full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle - They are looking for ideally one male and one female support worker due to certain children’s needs - NVQ level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce would be very beneficial but would consider someone working towards it with the hands on experience
