You will be working with disabled children and young people aged between 0 and 17 supporting them to progress towards independence.
You will be required to work alongside and in partnership with other professionals to develop plans to meet the care and support needs that have been identified.
You will need to have a minimum of three months recent UK experience working within a healthcare environment in a similar capacity. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an video interview. All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS check and we require a minimum of two satisfactory employment references.
You will be working a range of shifts including nights and some weekends.
You will be required to work alongside specialists in multi-disciplinary teams.
You should have a non-judgmental approach.
You will receive all the necessary training prior to supporting the person and this will take place locally.
You will be required to support the manager in the daily running of the service and must be IT literate.
You will also undertake staff supervisions and chair team meetings.
You will be working within a team to provide 24-hour cover, 7 days a week. Therefore, you may be required to work evenings and weekends and cover sleep-ins (paid at £70.47 per night).
