You will work closely with students to include personal preferences and choices. Individualised and unique programs can often demonstrate a wide range of diverse activities, from fishing, sports and computers, to farming, cooking, welding and forestry. As this is an outreach role, a driving licence and car will be required.
You will be responsible for preparing materials and equipment for lessons, maintaining tools and machinery, supporting health and safety procedures, and ensuring workshop spaces are kept clean, organised, and compliant. What the school is looking for:
You will learn industry-recognised methodologies, including business process modelling, stakeholder analysis, and requirements engineering, while building practical experience with real-world case studies.
You will cover skills such as data mining, manipulating data, visualising data, and reporting on data. Study time for the qualification is approximately 30 hours and qualification is achieved by completing a 1-hour multiple choice exam.
You will be provided with access to a tutor and a 1-hour online revision workshop prior to sitting your exam.
You will be able to react quickly to situations, performing consistently under pressure and responding positively to changing circumstances.
You will also be able to demonstrate: - Proven competence through practical experience. - A detailed knowledge of the working practices and demands of a large complex public building and/or listed building.
You will maintain and optimise booking systems, calendars, approval forms, and workflows, ensuring smooth operations for staff, students, and immersive learning spaces. This role also involves supporting VR and immersive teaching environments, delivering training, developing content and driving user-focused improvements across the college.
