You will be based predominantly at Royal Preston Hospital. The successful applicant will manage a team consisting of seven paediatric dietitians and 2 support staff. Although you will be an autonomous practitioner, you will be required to work closely with the adult management team and medical, nursing and AHP colleagues.

You will work alongside the Team Manager to: - Provide practice leadership and professional oversight to social workers and practitioners - Support decision-making at the front door, ensuring proportionate, timely and lawful responses - Oversee waiting lists, risk prioritisation and case progression

You will have access to training and support for continued professional development. This role requires you to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), if you are not yet registered, you can still apply, as long as you are willing to apply for registration within 3 months of starting with us and be registered within 6 months.

You will be required to provide this check.

This locum position is ongoing, and the ideal option would be to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, although the service would consider part-time hours for the right candidate.
