The role demands strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage mechanical aspects of projects from design through to completion.
You will provide technical and subject matter expertise on marine HVAC systems and components, ship design specifications, heating and cooling load calculations, duct pressure loss calculations, equipment and duct sizing calculations, controls philosophies, etc. Develop HVAC system designs and prepares detailed design drawings in collaboration with the client.
You will also attend occasional breakdowns, undertake safe and efficient repairs, and ensure good housekeeping and good manufacturing practice in accordance with site policy. All work must be carried out competently, safely and efficiently, including compliance Point of Work assessments and Safe Systems of Work in line with our Zero Harm Policy.
