You will take ownership of harness design throughout the full lifecycle-working from initial concept, through prototype build, testing, and onward to serial production. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical harnesses that meet demanding technical and customer requirements. Define harness routing, securing, protection, and system architecture.
You will create engineering solutions that satisfy functional and physical requirements symptomatic of Product System and Sub-System level environments.
You will participate within an IPT described by Product Lifecycle System (PLS) and operate in accordance with applicable Rolls-Royce Management System (RRMS) policies and processes.
You should be a well-organised, flexible, driven, forward planner with the ability to deliver work to a high standard and to tight timescales.
You should also be able to take on the ability to manage the mechanical engineering aspects of other more junior members of the team assisting on projects.
You will enjoy having conversations with people, listening and building relationships as it's important that we really get to know our clients and understand their requirements.
