You will be producing hard and soft landscaping for the open space and play areas between and around our new homes, to meet planning requirements, to meet the requirements of biodiversity, as well as show home gardens and sales areas, including providing budgets and technical specifications and details.
You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team to manage design progress, interface resolution, approvals, risk mitigation and technical governance throughout the project lifecycle.
You will play a key role in shaping system architectures, functionality design and first-in-type solutions, driving reuse and where appropriate while also leading the creation of new, modular components where the solution demands it. The role spans the full engineering lifecycle - from early concept and bid support through detailed design, development, integration and delivery.
You will be enthusiastic and conscientious about the work you produce, leading by example with good attention to detail.
You will have the ability to learn quickly and work methodically under your own initiative and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You will also have awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental procedures relating to design and construction activities.
You will be highly motivated, have experience in designing training programmes (both in-person and e-learning), and have excellent stakeholder management skills, working across key business areas to help shape the content of the learning. If you have experience in delivering training in addition to training design, we’d still love to hear from you!
