You will report directly to the Engineering Manager whilst supporting a busy production team.

You will have experience of working with cross functional teams.

You must have 3D design experience preferably with Solidworks.

You will lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems, taking ownership from concept through to detailed design and validation. This is a product-focused role requiring strong CAD capability and the ability to work independently with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier stakeholders.

You will be responsible for designing, supervising, and managing site investigations projects such as looking at for slope stability, landslip remediation, embedded and gravity retaining structures, and working platforms. Geotechnical Design Engineer - BENEFITS - Salary - £40,000 - £47,000

You will be responsible for creating optimized design concepts and mechanical design specifications for products, parts, components, and systems, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for performance, reliability, durability, and serviceability. Key Responsibilities: - Lead design and development for complex engineering assignments.

You will be responsible for acting as the technical lead, dealing with day-to-day management of an engineering team, managing complex geotechnical schemes, providing advice and ensuring high quality engineering solutions within infrastructure, the built environment and property developments.

You will apply advanced engineering principles and design practices to create optimised mechanical concepts that balance performance, cost, manufacturability, durability, and serviceability.
