You will be required to undertake a key role in the design of drainage Infrastructure, Transportation and Private Developer projects with emphasis on highway drainage and development drainage including SuDS. As well as delivering the drainage design, you will be responsible in supporting the leadership and development of our drainage capability.

You will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team made up of 175 personnel from Stantec, across 13 UK offices and a team in Pune, along with our clients and consultant/contractor partners, collaborating to deliver projects throughout the UK & Ireland.

You will be expected to have proficiency in MS 365 applications and have knowledge in key areas such as advanced Excel, PowerBI and SharePoint. Working knowledge of GIS Systems (MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS). Experience using FME, Optimatics, python (or similar) would be an advantage.

You will be degree qualified, with membership to a relevant institution e.g. CIWEM, ICE.

You will have the ability to successfully lead projects in an urban drainage environment, demonstrating technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities.

You will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team made up of 175 personnel from Stantec, based throughout the UK and internationally, along with our clients and consultant/contractor partners, collaborating to deliver projects.

You will work alongside the Project Manager to deliver best value and client service excellence.

You will have access to Stantec’s world-class expertise to help you deliver leading edge design.

You will also be a degree qualified (or equivalent) engineer and you will ideally be chartered, or a member of a relevant engineering institution e.g. ICE. Support can be given to achieve this if required.
