You must be HCPC registered, qualified to MSc level or equivalent, with extensive experience of managing a laboratory or as a Section Manager/ Chief Biomedical Scientist with highly developed specialist knowledge and skills from working in Clinical Biochemistry.
You will own month end, support ongoing process improvement, and contribute to planning cycles. Responsibilities include: - Month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and balance-sheet reviews - Preparing accurate management accounts with clear variance analysis and performance drivers
You will be communicating with the client to ensure that contract negotiations, interpretation and disputes are resolved in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Commercial Management: Develop and implement commercial strategies to ensure project profitability and risk mitigation.
You will be responsible for reviewing enquiries, supporting tender submissions, clarifying project scope with clients, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and overseeing all technical, commercial and programme aspects of delivery. Projects typically range from small works through to multi-million pound installations within regulated industrial environments.
