You will be able to effectively plan and deliver quality assurance visits with assessed outcomes across the range of commissioned services in Adult Social Care both in the borough and on occasions within the wider North East region.

You will also play a key role in supporting the Provider Concerns process and in any identified safeguarding activity.

You will be responsible for leading a highly motivated team of managers and contributing to the further development of services within the region.

You must be an accomplished manager and have extensive experience and knowledge of working within the social care sector and supporting people with learning disabilities and with mental health support needs.

You will cover skills such as data mining, manipulating data, visualising data, and reporting on data. Study time for the qualification is approximately 30 hours and qualification is achieved by completing a 1-hour multiple choice exam.

You will be provided with access to a tutor and a 1-hour online revision workshop prior to sitting your exam.
