You will be working with six people from principals to apprentices, liaising with operational managers, heads of departments as well as the Health & Safety teams. This role offers exposure to the Wider Control Damage Hazards team whilst individually being given the opportunity for professional growth within the function.
You will own month end, support ongoing process improvement, and contribute to planning cycles. Responsibilities include: - Month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and balance-sheet reviews - Preparing accurate management accounts with clear variance analysis and performance drivers
You will be communicating with the client to ensure that contract negotiations, interpretation and disputes are resolved in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Commercial Management: Develop and implement commercial strategies to ensure project profitability and risk mitigation.
You will cover skills such as data mining, manipulating data, visualising data, and reporting on data. Study time for the qualification is approximately 30 hours and qualification is achieved by completing a 1-hour multiple choice exam.
You will be provided with access to a tutor and a 1-hour online revision workshop prior to sitting your exam.
You will ensure health and safety practices are identified, documented and aligned with the business, whilst ensuring these are understood and complied with throughout the organisation. Supporting and enabling the business to exceed its statutory and contractual obligations in managing all HSEQ aspects across a diverse risk landscape.
