You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of Exeter’s business rates and council tax property base.
You will issue bills, review reliefs and exemptions, inspect properties, and liaise with the Valuation Office Agency to confirm valuations.
You will also support recovery activity and assist with system testing when required.
You will help maintain the Council’s income collection service for Council Tax and Business Rates, ensuring payments are received, recorded and processed correctly.
You will set up and monitor direct debits, prepare refunds, trace missing payments and resolve account anomalies.
