You will play a key role in improving flow, quality, cost and delivery while supporting production teams and driving robust engineering standards. You will shape architectures, define solution patterns and champion best practice, ensuring our engineering approaches remain robust, scalable and future ready. In this role, you will take ownership of technically complex and first in type solutions - driving reuse where beneficial, and creating new modular components, frameworks and design patterns when the solution demands it.
You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance on new and existing equipment. While a background in food manufacturing is preferred, the client is open to candidates with transferable skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
You will also help manage the engineering resource and ensure compliance with all current codes of practice, standards, and statutory requirements.
You will work closely with buyers and the European Supplier Quality & Development (SQ&D) team, reporting directly to the SQ&D EMEAI Manager.
