You will lead transactions end-to-end—from sourcing, due diligence, and execution to post-merger integration—working closely with the CEO, the PE sponsor, and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Shape and deliver the Group’s M&A strategy in line with the investment thesis
You will also take a lead role in the transition of your clients to online accounting systems, and assisting with business advisory and tax planning assignments. Previous experience in a senior role within a practice is essential, and you are likely to hold either an ACA or ACCA qualification.
You will advise the Chief Executive and the Care Inspectorate Board on the implementation and development of policy, strategy, procedures and practice within these areas and ensure that corporate governance standards are upheld.
You will be a solutions-focused and forward-thinking leader with proven experience of managing diverse multidisciplinary teams and significant budgets.
You must hold a relevant accountancy qualification (or be working towards one), be committed to the delivery of excellent internal customer services, have experience of managing both staff and budgets as well as analytical and financial skills. The post holder will report to the Corporate Services Director, Kathryn Miller.
You will be central to the design, impact and measurement of our corporate plans and will be focused on ensuring that the organisation meets the highest standards in governance, finance, people development and leadership, risk management, probity and service delivery.
