About the role We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead the Council’s Building Control team on a permanent, full-time basis. Forming part of the wider Planning Service, which deals with statutory duties and requirements under the Building Regulation Acts and other related legislation, the postholder would play a key role in monitoring and regulating...

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary R&D team and be responsible for the mechanical design, prototyping and testing of components and assemblies. The role involves translating research concepts into robust, manufacturable products, working closely with suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure designs meet performance, quality and compliance requirements.

You will play a key part in maintaining systems, supporting audits, and driving improvements in quality and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to life-saving products while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
