You will have previous experience in the design of electrical installations for compact or enclosed areas, within ships or boats, buildings, products or services.
You will need to be proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD (ideally with other 3D packages), as well as Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel & Outlook.
You should be capable of implementing minor drawing pack updates yourself, and will draw on the project design team for significant updates where help is required. - Champion the design into the PRR, ensuring the facilities, test and ancillary equipment necessary for production is in place ready for PRR, to minimise delays getting into production.
You will be part of a small team delivering bespoke electronic solutions, with the opportunity to broaden your skills across electronics, firmware, testing and manufacturing. What you will be doing - Designing and developing electronic circuits and systems - Writing embedded firmware in C/C++
You will liaise with customers to understand project requirements, produce complex technical bids and proposals, scopes of work and communicate across multiple departments internally to assist in the completion of high level, bespoke projects for customers within defence, m&e, manufacturing, construction and more.
