You will be working for a manufacturer of all types of low voltage distribution switchgear and control panels.
You will be working in workshop wiring and fitting control panels according to engineering drawings. Wiring and assembling a range of panels ranging in size, many bespoke products.
You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA)
You must have previous experience working as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours
You will be responsible for wiring and assembling control panels in line with engineering drawings.
You will work within the assembly team building products within set timeframes and to quality standards. Key duties include: Assemble products to the required standard and drawing specifications Mount electrical hardware and components to frames and panels.
You will also hold a qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
You will be required to efficiently repair vehicles checking on completion ensuring there are no defects including changing quarter panels, filler work, stripping a vehicle down and rebuilding it.
