Contract Support Assistant jobs in Rotherham

You will act as a consistent and encouraging role model for students aged 11–18, offering guidance and structure both inside and outside the classroom.

You will build strong relationships with learners, helping them develop positive behaviour strategies, improve self-confidence, and feel fully supported in their education.

You will be supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing and engaging environment. Key responsibilities: Support children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Assist with classroom activities that promote early learning and development. Provide support to the class teacher and students throughout the day and during playtime.

You will be responsible for supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping them manage their behaviour, engage in their learning, and develop key life skills. Your role will be crucial in fostering a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
