You will take a leading role in delivering comprehensive fire safety surveying services, managing complex projects and developing strong client relationships.
You will also play an important part in supporting and mentoring junior team members.
You will be joining a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy with decades of experience delivering award winning projects across all major sectors.
You will have a busy and thriving workshop to manage on a daily basis. This position is responsible for all aspects of workshop daily management, from issuing work to technicians, tooling & equipment, and Health & Safety. Package –£35,000-£37,000 + BONUS/ 8am-6pm Monday – Friday every other Saturday 8:30am– 1pm
You will need to liaise closely with Building Contractors, reading drawings, issue site inspection reports, research technical data, be comfortable working as part of an existing team and be able to use Microsoft Word and Outlook (and Excel is desirable but not essential) to prepare specific reports under the direction of a team leader.
You will be the point of contact for the company in relations to all projects ensuring all processes are followed and ran smoothly. This will involve reporting all relevant client reports and complying with all quality procedures including CDM 2015, fire safety guidance and England/ GLA funding requirements.
You will be the Quantity Surveyor responsible for multiple projects simultaneously, including large works projects valued around £250k – these are residential reinstatement works and education sector projects (schools).
