You will be instrumental in managing project cost control, contract management, and procurement and will act as a senior point of contact with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
You will manage a range of new-build and refurbishment construction projects from early briefing through to completion, with responsibilities across design coordination, procurement, construction oversight, and contract administration. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential.
You will be leading and supporting Junior Quantity Surveyors and will also be supported by a Commercial Director.
You will develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment of students and keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
You will hold a Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
You will have an excellent working knowledge of environmental legislation and its application within an engineering and construction environment, ideally the energy infrastructure sector or with linear projects.
You will be required to provide advice on all business environment aspects and impacts such as waste, water management, permits and licences.
