You will need to be flexible in your work location as you will be away from home for periods of time and will travel and work across Scotland.

You will assist in the production of construction plans and coordinate the engineering support team.

You will also be responsible for the procurement of construction materials and specialist subcontracts for the successful delivery of projects.

You will be leading schemes that will often require working away from home. In return, you will receive a working away allowance equivalent to an additional 10 per cent on top of your base salary when staying away, with all accommodation paid for. Projects range in value up to £22 million and include complex schemes across residential towers, stadiums, commercial buildings and public sector assets.

You will learn how to assess and control risks, understand legal responsibilities, and investigate incidents. Step 2 – NEBOSH General CertificateBuild on your foundation with the NEBOSH General Certificate, the gold standard for health and safety professionals. This qualification covers workplace hazards, health and safety legislation, and how to design and implement effective safety systems.

You will also have the reassurance of a job guarantee upon completion of the training courses.
