You will take responsibility for the execution of the Quantity Surveying function on allocated contract/s, in order to fulfil the requirements of the Company in maximising quality of service and profitability.

You will provide a range of cost control and financial reporting duties across all aspects of construction work undertaken by the company.

You will be a key member of the design team responsible for the design function on live schemes. Managing and co-ordinating the design of a range of projects of varying complexity and value from tender stage through to the completion of construction stage design information.

You will work closely with housebuilders, contractors and groundworkers, supporting projects from early specification through to delivery on site.

You will develop opportunities across a wide stakeholder group, including housebuilders, architects, contractors, local authorities and specifiers, securing specifications through problem solving and technical expertise.

You will be responsible for your team from scheduling to recruitment.

You will also care and ensure that health & safety and welfare issues are communicated effectively and promoted within your area of responsibility, understanding your responsibilities for and fulfilling your duties in accordance with the Trusts policies and procedures.

You will work with the Engineers/Engineering Manager to develop technical agreements during technical/commercial build stages.

You will maintain the company and technical project bonds and sectional agreement trackers and report on outstanding bonds and overrun costs. We value in-person collaboration and team culture, but we're also committed to supporting flexible working where possible.

You will lead the project from inception to completion and ensure that all works are completed to specification, in budget and on time.
