You will work with the SoC teams, architects and platform leads to help define, influence, align and agree technical requirements and features for implementation. Assess design trade-offs to develop the most optimal solution for our customers and development partners.
You will also need to have a full UK driving license to travel to the different sites.
You will need access to your own vehicle for this position. Main Duties and Responsibilities include: Provide on-site support in a designated School and occasionally conduct organised visits to several sites in the geographical area; on occasion further afield when required.
You will need to be able to triage incoming tickets/requests, diagnose and resolve the tickets as best you can, and escalate up to 3rd line where you are unable to resolve the issue directly, but you will also be taken through the 3rd line resolution with the infrastructure team in order to better develop overall knowledge.
You will play a key role in the build, development, modernisation, and support of industrial Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems , supporting upgrade programmes for small gas turbine platforms . This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, working closely with Engineering, Project Execution, and Field Service teams.
