computer hardware technician jobs in Derby

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading equipment across various customer environments, specifically farms and equine yards.

You will work around livestock (cattle and horses) and must be comfortable working at heights using ladders, cherry pickers, or temporary platforms.

You will need to be able to triage incoming tickets/requests, diagnose and resolve the tickets as best you can, and escalate up to 3rd line where you are unable to resolve the issue directly, but you will also be taken through the 3rd line resolution with the infrastructure team in order to better develop overall knowledge.

You will work closely with researchers, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of HPC systems.
