You will be home-based and work alongside a team of commercial major loss specialists, but only be responsible for losses in the domestic, mid and high net worth markets. These requirements exist on a national basis so you can be accommodated wherever you live. Applicant Requirements
You will be home-based operating throughout the wider South East region, providing both technical guidance and support to your colleagues in respect of commercial property losses in excess of £100,000.
You will also handle your own portfolio of specialist buildings losses. Applicant Requirements
You will be responsible for a small, but developing, team of home-based property adjusters handling a mix of domestic, high net worth and commercial losses throughout the broad south of England.
You will report to the Operations Director and oversee report writing, loss allocation, training, mentoring, recruitment, SLAs etc whilst handling a smaller caseload of the larger and more complex losses.
You will be expected to cover a geographical area around the South East region and surrounding counties. Typically you will be expected to carry out around 20/25 visits per month and likely to carry a case-load around 80/85 ideally. Each week on average you will spend 3 days out on the road with 2 admin days.
You will be given autonomy to handle those losses as you see fit supported by an excellent desk-based team. Your caseload will be no more than 60-70 losses thus enabling you to handle your portfolio in a thoroughly professional manner in a relatively pressure-free environment.
You will have an ability to evidence technical excellence in the investigation and handling of cradle to grave and Delegated Authority instructions. A desire to accept responsibility and accountability for the conduct of allocated cases to conclusion, and a positive pro-active approach to service delivery.
