You will be someone who is: - Passionate about supporting care-experienced young people
You will work with a passionate and skilled workforce to enable care leavers to progress well and benefit from positive experiences.
You will focus on effective transitions for young people aged 15 to 18, supporting them to develop confidence and life skills to navigate adulthood.
You will be required to work on a rota basis including weekends. Main responsibilities of the role comprise of assisting in all aspects of minimal personal care and continence care.
You will ideally be experienced in care but this is not essential as full training is provided.
You must be able to drive and have a full licence.
You will support the the client in their home with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities. When you'll be working:
You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients
You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months. We no longer have any certificates of sponsorship available and are unable to consider sponsorship.
You will then complete the person-centred training, specific to the person that you are supporting.
