You will deputise for the Lead Social Worker in quality assurance meetings and support the delivery of safeguarding induction and update training across the hospital.
You will be part of a well-established multidisciplinary team offering personalised assessment and treatment programmes in a structured, recovery-focused environment.
You will work at Thornford Park which is a combination of medium secure and low secure units and rehabilitation flats.
You will work alongside the multidisciplinary to provide personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/ complex care needs as well as those with personality disorder.
You will be based within a specialist mental health service that includes medium secure, low secure and rehabilitation units. The service provides a seamless internal care pathway, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, personality disorders and histories of offending or placement breakdowns.
You will work flexibly with the management team, lead on key projects, and chair meetings such as risk assessments and best interest decisions. With a focus on safeguarding adults at risk, achieving performance targets, and operating within budgetary constraints, you will play a vital role in driving continuous improvement and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
You must be prepared to ‘go the Extra Mile’ to ensure that service users are enjoying the highest quality of life and have opportunities to become more independent and connected to their communities.
You will have excellent communication and team working skills whilst promoting service user’s dignity, independence and well-being.
You will be working directly with students who need assistance in the classroom. The school caters for students who have a range of complex needs.
You will be required to help the class teacher prepare learning materials and lessons for the day and help keep track of children's progress.
You will model best practices and lead your team in delivering personalised support, ensuring each young person can thrive in a nurturing environment.
