You will be able to clearly share 2 years experience supporting individuals who require high levels of support and are often deregulated.
You will have experience of providing detailed and accurate daily record keeping and incident reporting.
You will demonstrate creativity when engaging and establishing trust with children and young people and demonstrate sound communication and judgement.
You will have an ability to undertake robust assessments and care planning which will enable you to update care plans to ensure the outcomes of the individuals are being met, as well as having the flexibility and skills to respond to changing needs of individuals.
You will have good organisational skills and be able to manage a caseload.
You will be expected to provide support to the registered nursing team, by carrying out an extended range of assigned clinical tasks as well as direct patient care and associated administrative duties.
You must be adaptable to change and have the ability to work without direct supervision.
You must have a flexible approach to your work, as we work shifts: day, evenings and weekends. An SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential. Where you do not currently hold a Level 2 certificate, you must be committed to undertaking this qualification.
